All Novice and Varsity athletes are required to participate in the Crew-a-thon, Brookline Rowing’s major annual fundraising event. During the Crew-a-thon, our athletes knock on doors across Brookline in small teams, answering questions about our program and collecting tax-deductible donations. The Crew-a-thon raises about two-fifths of the $50,000 our team needs annually to fund costs (boats, oars, coaching) not covered by the high school’s athletic department. Teams will be combinations of varsity and novice rowers, equipped with talking points, maps of their targeted areas, and solicitation forms.
Location: all athletes report to BHS.
