Key Dates & Information

2026 Fall Program Costs

Fall rowing is run as a club sport with registration fees covering all equipment, regatta entries, and athlete meals for the entire season. Spring rowing is run as an official Brookline High School sport, and fees are paid directly to BHS Athletics with additional food and equipment fees paid to FOBR.

Invoices will be emailed to families once team rosters are finalized by the Program Director.

Financial Assistance

FOBR is deeply committed to making rowing accessible to everyone.Finances should never be a barrier to participation. We offer limited, need-based financial aid each season.

Parent Engagement & Volunteering

Running a smooth, safe, and exciting season for our athletes takes a village! We rely on parent support for everything from regatta hospitality and chaperoning to boathouse maintenance and fundraising.

We completely understand that time is tight for some families. You can choose to opt out of the 10-hour volunteer commitment by paying a $250 Buy-Out Fee, which helps us cover the additional logistical and operational costs. Families choosing to opt out can indicate that in the survey form and will be sent a separate invoice for the fee.
